Wreath-making, cookie swapping, and a little seasonal shopping—does it get any more holiday than that? On Saturday, Food52 joined forces with The Local Greenwich Moms Network in Greenwich, CT, to greet the season with our Holiday Family Fête. Children scouted out the sweets swap table and danced to Greenwich A Capella’s rendition of Frosty the Snowman, while an array of Creekside Farms garlands and wreaths and abundance of greenery provided by Sam Bridge Nursery made the space merry. In the noshes department, On the Marc catering dished out spiny tuna crispy rice bites, Caesar salad cups, and mini chicken and waffles.
Meanwhile, the kiddos got creative crafting gift tags, pompom necklaces, and candy cane bracelets at the Make Modern pop-up, adults got crafty at the June Farms wreathmaking station with Balsam fir branches, gingham ribbon, and red berry stems.
But the real stars of the afternoon were the Food52 products, all plucked straight from our Gift Guides. These three were the biggest crowd-pleasers:
1. Almost everyone had their eyes on the Frieling Double Walled French Press, choosing their favorite colors and sizes.
2. Another colorful choice, guests gossiped over which Mosser Cake Stand would look the best in their homes.
3. Even Santa had his eye on the Pigeon Toe Handmade Ceramic Butter Dish, which makes us wonder—does Santa make wishlists, too?
